SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Californer -- Media mogul and entrepreneur Promise B Mae, owner of the Black woman-led streaming platform The Nyx Network, is bringing her signature mix of glam, grit, and girl power to the beauty world. This month in honor of Black Business Month she announced the upcoming grand opening of Baddies R Us, an all-pink luxury hair salon and beauty bar located in the very shopping center where she grew up. The location will be located on 6100 Mack Rd Ste G Sacramento, California.
With the bold slogan "Bringing Luxury to the Neighborhood", Baddies R Us will offer a full menu of beauty services from licensed hair styling to makeup artistry, lash extensions, nail design, and more. But Promise is taking it a step further: the salon will double as a filming location for her latest reality TV venture, capturing the behind-the-scenes hustle, creativity, and personalities that make the beauty industry a cultural force.
