BURBANK, Calif. - Californer -- A startup online radio station in Los Angeles is doing their part to help make life more productive, healthy, and enjoyable amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Murph Workout Radio just launched their subscription music app on the Google Play Store this week with great success. They are now offering that same app for free for the next seven days during their "Stand 2gether (6-ft Apart)" Sale. Company founder, Brad "Murph" Murphree, states that they plan to do the same when the Apple version launches in the coming days.
According to Murph, "A lot of people are doing the right thing by staying home and avoiding crowds. People are worried about money. We figured we could help each other out." The app mirrors the ten music channels that are always available for free on their website, MurphWorkoutRadio.com. Music categories include Dance, Running, Hard Rock, Latin, and even Country and Yoga!
"Our music is different. Our DJs are workout fanatics who insert the right motivational quotes within the songs to create live transformative music to help keep you moving. So you're getting more than just the same old song. It really is a revolutionary thing!" Murph also adds, "We hand pick and field test every track we put out there to make sure it's really good to workout to. We won't leave you hanging with some sad slow love song in the middle of your set."
