LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson on Sunday January 19 in front of the FEMA office at 10850 West Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90064 will demand full equitable FEMA wildfire relief aid to Black homeowners who suffered catastrophic losses in Altadena. Hutchinson will distribute the letter to the press sent to President Trump demanding equitable FEMA aid to them.
"FEMA must ensure that all wildfire aid and assistance be given on a fair and equitable basis to Black homeowners who suffered catastrophic losses in historic Black Altadena," says Hutchinson, "There have been too many instances in the past where Blacks have not gotten full relief when they suffered disaster losses. That must not be the case with the wildfire relief aid in Altadena."
