Jacker Digital Brings Youth Together To Life with Brand New Website
OAKLAND, Calif. - Californer -- Jacker Digital, The parent and student community at skyline high school will have a much easier time interacting with Youth Together and their services this year. That's in part due to the newly launched website. Youth Together worked with Jacker Digital to upgrade their program's website and also to update some of their systems to allow them to interact online with their student base.
Youth together started their partnership with Jacker Digital after their last website went down due to plug-in issues. By working with Jacker Digital they were able to get these plug-in issue was fixed and moved over to a new platform, Squarespace, that will allow them to troubleshoot and update the site easier.

It was important to Youth Together that the new website was targeted not only to parents but also to the student base. They wanted the site to be user-friendly for students and encourage them to interact with the site and sign up for the programs after reviewing the information.
The pandemic changed a lot with education. Youth Together found that their program changed a lot since students have returned back from virtual learning. The non-profit has adapted their program offerings to fit current student needs and have added some additional resources to their services. All of these changes and updates can be found on their new website.
After-school programs like Youth Together are very valuable to school communities like Skyline. The programs they offer provide safe and supportive spaces to keep young people engaged in learning during a difficult and trying time.

This project was especially important to Angelou Masters, who served not as the lead web designer but is also a Skyline Alumni. "It's not every day that you get to work for a client that's both an amazing organization and at a place so important to you", Angelou said when reflecting on the project.
