The PowerWeb, a 9-outlet worksite electrical power box is compact enough for portability but capable enough for today's worksites.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Prime Wire & Cable Inc., a world leader in the manufacturing of extension cords and electrical components is pleased to announce the development of a new patent pending product, The PowerWeb®, portable jobsite electrical box. The PowerWeb® is engineered to be an economical way to distribute electrical power using a 125 VAC, single-phase power source.
Prime's PowerWeb® helps supply the necessary power to the jobsite while protecting the tool and the user with built-in GFCI protection and a 15-amp circuit breaker. No special connections are needed, the PowerWeb® is simply powered by an existing outdoor rated 15-amp extension cord. The rugged PowerWeb® provides nine weather protected outlets, is jobsite ready, and is ETL certified for use where power is needed most.

Matthew Wright, Product Manager at Prime Wire & Cable, explains, "Theres rarely enough power on jobsites, new construction or while remodeling, so nine additional outlets, helps provide the power to charge batteries, connect lights, fans, coolers or music."
The PowerWeb® provides three layers of protection for the user. It comes with GFCI protection to keep the user safe, a resettable 15-amp circuit breaker to protect tools from accidental overloads and it has an elevated base to keep plugs off the floor.
"In my years of construction, I encountered many power strips laying the dirt in an attempt to get enough outlets to the job, which is not only dangerous, but illegal. Prime has always wanted to help bring a solution to market that is both durable and safe. The PowerWeb® is that solution, and is available at an affordable price," adds Wright.
The design includes a durable metal housing with heavy duty rubber trim. A folding handle adds to the ease in portability. For added convenience the stand has guide hooks to easily wind and store an extension cord on the legs to keep workspaces organized and transportation easy. For more information see the PowerWeb® at: https://primewirecable.com/products/powerweb.
