LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Rama Montakhabi lands recurring role in the hit show on Starz Network BMF season 2 as "Peaches" the girlfriend of one of the top dealers, K9, in Detroit in the 80's. BMF is executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and has just been renewed for an upcoming third season after 4.1 million viewers tuned into the premiere episode. Rama is in the series along with Alani "LaLa" Anthony, Mo'Nique, Snoop Dogg, Demetrius Flenory, Jr., Russell Hornsby, Steve Harris, & Kelly Hu to name a few. Rama has already appeared in the first 2 episodes and will be in episode 3 "Devil's Night" this Friday January 20, 2023 with more to come.
Rama Montakhabi is an Iranian American SAG AFTRA actress, who grew up in Northern Virginia after her family came to America as refugees only 2 months before her being born. Since the age of 4, she knew she wanted to be an actress and finally pursued it briefly in 2007 before moving to New York in 2009 where she worked on a few TV series & independent films. In 2018, Rama settled in Los Angeles fully motivated to pursue her acting career after losing both of her parents to health issues in 2017 & 2018. In only 3 years, with no agent or management, has booked herself on several independent films, feature films on HBO, Showtime, MTV, VH-1, Lifetime & is currently playing a recurring role as Peaches in BMF Season 2 on STARZ.

Rama lost her mother to a battle with cancer and is big on staying healthy, due to her father passing from a stroke. She also wants to use her platform to help be a voice for all of the women in Iran, as well as be a mentor for troubled teens. She is also a talented freehand artist with a collection of several paintings in her home gallery. Her hobbies include hiking, roller skating, yoga/fitness, reading and is also a licensed Realtor in CA.
