"Rayvyn" Is Bringing The Heat During The Holiday Season

LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Tis' the season for new Hip-Hop. Rising Hip-Hop Artist, Jose Velez Colondres or better known as Rayvyn was born on July 22, 1996, in the town of Ponce, Puerto Rico. At the age of 3 he moved to Miami, Florida and since then has grown up there. Rayvyn is an artist who found interest in music at the age of 15 by the age of 20 he was creating and developing his own sound. While growing up in Miami, Rayvyn always knew he was different than the other rappers in his area. Rayvyn's music and lyricism did not quite fit in with the commonly known hip hop culture of Florida and he knew his creativity needed to stand out. Rayvyn always had a love for New York especially with it being the birthplace of hip hop.

In December of 2017, Rayvyn decided to leave Miami and packed a suitcase with New York being the destination to change his life forever. He promised himself to not go back to Miami until he completed what he started. In February of 2018, his journey led him to catch the interest of Good Brother Music Group, an independent music label based in New York established in 2001. Rayvyn knew he'd fit right in, being that the label and Rayvyn shared the same vision and standards on how to maneuver in this ever-changing music industry. Rayvyn is the first artist out of Good Brother Music Group, releasing his single "Hell of a day" and reaching 1 million views in the first week.
