BURBANK, Calif. - Californer -- EngAGE is pleased to announce that Roccie Hill has joined the organization as CEO.
EngAGE Founder Tim Carpenter, who is retiring after twenty-five years, comments, "Roccie's deep experience in fortifying partnerships with funders, working with diverse communities, and leading integrated teams of staff and volunteers through complex projects, all with a caring heart, makes her the ideal person to lead EngAGE to new heights in the future."
Ms. Hill has worked in the nonprofit sector for over twenty-five years, including her leadership experience as the Executive Director for Housing Trust Silicon Valley, the Mendocino Art Center, and Guide Dogs of the Desert. She also served as Chair of the California Association of Nonprofits Public Policy Council for eight years.

Roccie received the Ambassador Award for twenty years of service on behalf of Academy Women, an organization committed to the success of aspiring, current, and past women military leaders. She also received President Barack Obama's Lifetime Achievement Award for facilitating nonprofit volunteerism.
Roccie has published three novels and is the author of one play. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Genealogical Society of Hispanic America-Southern California. She is a tennis fanatic and proud mother of daughter, Nicky, and hound, Tessie.
EngAGE is a nonprofit that takes a whole-person approach to community and creative, healthy aging by providing free arts, wellness, lifelong learning, community building, and intergenerational programs to thousands of older adults and families living in affordable senior and multi-generational apartment communities in California and Oregon.
