SAN JOSÉ, CA -- San José Mayor Sam Liccardo, who also serves as the Chair of the Big City Mayors Coalition, released the following statement regarding the Governor's announcement of a new Homeless Data Integration System:

"I applaud Governor Newsom's embrace of a data-driven approach to homelessness, recognizing that we cannot manage what we cannot measure.  His launch of the Homeless Data Integration System will provide the transparency critically needed to hold the state, counties, and cities accountable for getting our homeless neighbors off of the streets and into housing."
