Hafen is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, California Board of Legal Specialization. She is a partner in the firm's Private Client Services and General Federal Tax practice groups. Hafen's practice is concentrated in tax, trust, and estate matters with emphasis in estate planning, trust and probate administration, and estate and gift taxation.
Hafen was recognized by San Diego Business Journal as a 2020 Next Top 40 Under 40 Winner, as a 2020 Leaders in Law finalist and as a 2020 and 2021 Business Women of the Year Awards finalist. She was also selected as a winner for San Diego Metro's 2021 40 Under 40 and in 2019 she was selected by the American Bar Association as an On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers Honoree. She has been named a Top Latino Lawyer by Latino Leaders Magazine since 2018 and a Southern California Super Lawyers, Rising Star – Estate Planning and Probate (2018-2020).
