The "Nu High" music video emphasizes the uplifting vibe of life. It represents a dreamy portrayal of experiencing happiness.
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Californer -- The "Nu High" music video interlaces spectacular Monterey Bay scenery and awesome whale sitings. Around every corner of life can be another breathtaking view. With meditation and imagination, memories and realities are realized.
"Nu High" is a jazz fusion/electronica track composed by Jazzelle, and features the accomplished musician Michael G. Williams on saxophone and flute. Michael G Williams performs in orchestral concerts nationwide. He was recorded for "Nu High" while he was visiting Monterey from Pennsylvania.
The music video for "Nu High" showcases several drone video clips of exceptional Monterey Bay and Big Sur footage, including spectacular rising rock formations. One of the drone clips includes the rare sighting of Baird Whales. Jazzelle shares, "After dealing with the distressing worldwide Covid situation, my mojo got stoked producing "Nu High". I'm immersed into the high of life and hoping the vibe catches on!".
Jazzelle has been creating music and video for over fifteen years. This project is especially precious to Jazzelle as she witnessed the threat in 2008 of toxic chemicals being dumped into the Monterey Bay. Becoming an activist in the fight to preserve the sanctuary, Jazzelle produced the 2008 documentary "True Accounts of the Light Brown Apple Moth Aerial Spraying". Her film helped expose the reality of the situation at that time. Jazzelle was among several key activists who helped keep the Monterey Bay Sanctuary free from the toxic chemicals.
