SAN PEDRO, Calif. - Californer -- The Future Is Vertical: First-Ever Vertical Awards Light Up Hollywood

The entertainment community gathered at the Hilton Los Angeles Culver City on September 27, 2025, for the first-ever Vertical Awards, a landmark ceremony celebrating excellence in vertical series. Founded by two-time Emmy® winner Vincent De Paul (Tesla, A Line of Fire, & The Genius of Gianni Versace Alive), the gala was co-hosted by Vincent De Paul and Dan Payne (Disney Descendants, Virgin River). The evening featured a bustling press line and a packed showroom of creators and actors championing the mobile-first format.
The evening kicked off with a Hollywood glam red carpet. For the first time at an awards show, fans shared the red carpet with stars. The night transitioned into an inspiring Awards Ceremony that celebrated the very best in vertical storytelling.
