CARSON, Calif. - Californer -- Makayla Daisy Cox earned her nickname "Makayla D. She has sold a record-breaking 18,994 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies in 6 years!
During and at the end of all Girl Scout cookie seasons, Makayla donated cookies to Houseless Veterans, First Responders, families in need, East Side Riders Bike Club and other local nonprofit organizations.
Makayla is passionate and truly cares about her community. During her journey of community service and taking action, Makayla has been inspired by her mentor John Jones III, CEO of East Side Riders Bike Club. Mr. John continues to encourage Makayla to conquer her goals, achieve success, all while giving back to underprivileged communities.
