LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1, 2024 ~ Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has announced the launch of their new line of premium wines, Drop of Sunshine, in partnership with Candle Media's Hello Sunshine. This collaboration brings together two powerhouse companies with a shared mission to celebrate and empower women.
Inspired by Hello Sunshine's dedication to showcasing women's stories and journeys, Drop of Sunshine is a toast to female connections and the moments that bring us together. The wine will make its debut at Hello Sunshine's Shine Away event in Los Angeles this weekend, with nationwide availability starting in February 2025.
The CEO of both Hello Sunshine and Candle Studios, Sarah Harden, expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating that they worked closely with TWE's award-winning winemakers to create a wine that celebrates women and encourages meaningful connections. The result is a true collaboration that aims to inspire bright moments of celebration and togetherness.
Drop of Sunshine will have the support of various partnerships throughout the year, including The Home Edit, Reese's Book Club (RBC), The Hello Sunshine Collective, The Bright Side, and other beloved film, television, and music projects. These partnerships will help celebrate and inspire women through storytelling.

Sarah Bakx, President of Treasury Americas' Bold Brands business unit at TWE, also shared her enthusiasm for the launch of Drop of Sunshine. She stated that they are honored to work alongside Hello Sunshine in elevating women's voices and ensuring their stories are heard. Wine is all about connection and sharing special moments, making it the perfect platform for celebrating female empowerment.
The idea for an authentic female-focused wine brand came from TWE's women-led team who saw an opportunity in the market. They found the perfect partner in Hello Sunshine to bring their vision to life. Drop of Sunshine offers three offerings: a California Brut Sparkling Rosé ($25), Central Coast Chardonnay ($20), and Central Coast Red Blend ($25). These wines were crafted to be approachable, balanced, and versatile, perfect for enjoying with or without food. The packaging is also chic and sustainable, with screw caps on still wines and no foil on sparkling.
The partnership between TWE and Hello Sunshine was facilitated by Superconnector Studios, a strategic business consultancy focused on connecting stakeholders in brand entertainment. Drop of Sunshine's innovative line of lifestyle wines is the result of extensive research and data gathered from test groups to understand what women truly want in their wine.
