LOS ALTOS HILLS, Calif. - Californer -- Waldorf School of the Peninsula invites the community to its enchanting 37th Annual Winter Faire on Saturday, December 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at the school's campus located at 11311 Mora Drive, Los Altos, California 94024.
This time-honored celebration promises a delightful escape from the holiday rush and provides an array of activities suitable for both children and adults. Guests will be immersed in a festive atmosphere and enjoy engaging, hands-on experiences, including crafting beeswax candles, wreath-making with fresh greenery, and creating unique holiday gifts from natural materials.
A highlight of the Faire is the Gnome Adventure, a whimsical journey through seasonal vignettes where children discover gnomes reveling in the joys of winter, spring, summer, and fall. As a keepsake, each child receives a small gem, reminiscent of the magical journey they experienced. Other wonderful touches include wandering characters with handmade treasures and live music throughout the day.

Throughout the day, Crafter's Workshops will offer engaging activities for crafting gifts with natural materials, and homemade jump ropes. Our early childhood teachers will perform a much-loved puppet show with this year's story "Gluscabi and the Wind Eagle," using handmade marionette puppets.
