Empowering entrepreneurs to thrive in business and life while helping expand child-safety education in San Diego County through support of Darkness to Light's prevention programs.
EL CAJON, Calif. - Californer -- Visionary solopreneurs often start their businesses to create freedom—yet many find themselves overwhelmed, exhausted, and out of alignment. The Aligned Healthy Wealth Retreat, taking place November 14–16, 2025, is designed to change that.
Hosted by Krystal Casey, widowed mom of five, motivational speaker, and systems strategist, this three-day retreat helps entrepreneurs rebuild their foundations, regulate their nervous systems, and rediscover balance so their businesses can support their lives—not consume them.
Casey's mission is deeply personal. Years ago, she faced the unimaginable when she discovered her husband had been abusing her daughter. After speaking out and navigating public scrutiny and profound grief following his death, she began the long process of rebuilding her life. As a widowed mom raising five children, she learned firsthand the struggle of balancing family, healing, and business—and the importance of not losing yourself in the process.

Her journey led her to become a two-time international best-selling author and the host of the Taboo Talks with Krystal podcast, where she shares real conversations on healing, resilience, and breaking generational cycles. That same passion fuels the Aligned Healthy Wealth Retreat, where she helps other entrepreneurs find calm within chaos and create sustainable success that supports both their purpose and their peace.
But the event's impact goes beyond business. A portion of every ticket and sponsorship directly supports Darkness to Light, a nonprofit that empowers adults to prevent child sexual abuse through awareness and education. Casey's goal is to bring prevention programs into more schools, community centers, and wellness facilities throughout San Diego County.
"This retreat isn't just about building wealth—it's about building healthier communities," says Casey. "When we take care of ourselves, we show up stronger for our families and for the next generation. Supporting Darkness to Light helps ensure that future is safe for every child."
