LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Political analyst Earl Ofari Hutchinson notes in the latest in his trilogy of books on Trump, Day 1 The Trump Reign, "On Wednesday November 6, 2024, the day after his landslide presidential election victory, President Elect Donald Trump addressed a pumped-up admiring crowd in West Palm Beach, Florida. He wasted no time and no words. He again said exactly what he had in store for the nation, "I will govern by a simple motto: Promises made, promises kept."
That simple admonition was more than fitting since Trump had spent much of his last four years out of office telling any and everyone that if he got back in the White House, he'd finish everything he didn't get done the first time around. Hutchinson observes in Day 1 The Trump Reign, "His agenda was indeed both straightforward and hefty. It was one of the most radical governmental public policy game changers in the nation's history. It would move the country on a hard-nosed ultra conservative track, which would scrap, scrub, remake, and transform government. "

In Day 1 The Trump Reign, Hutchinson separates myth from fact about what and how much Trump can really do in his oft stated intent to radically remake government. He assesses the absolute top policy issues Trump will turn attention too. He tells what and how effective the pushback to Trump's drive for total control will be. He asks and answers what Trump's four-year reign will ultimately mean for the nation
