New Phonak EON platform combines advanced AI-powered speech processing, a smaller design, longer battery life, and next-generation connectivity.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- California Hearing Center, an independent audiology practice serving the San Francisco Peninsula and greater Bay Area, is now offering the newly launched Phonak EON hearing aid platform, including the new Audéo EON Sphere.
Introduced by Phonak on August 24, EON represents the company's next generation of AI-powered hearing technology. The new platform is designed to address one of the most common challenges reported by people with hearing loss: understanding conversations when background noise is coming from multiple directions.
At the center of Audéo EON Sphere is Phonak's new HYPERSONIC™ AI chip, which powers Spheric Speech Clarity™ 3.0. The technology uses artificial intelligence to analyze speech and surrounding noise in real time, helping emphasize the voices a wearer wants to hear while reducing distracting sounds.

Smaller, Lighter and Designed for Everyday Use
According to Phonak, the new EON Sphere is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the previous Sphere generation, while its new chip architecture is 37% more power efficient.
The rechargeable hearing aids can provide up to 38 hours of battery life, depending on hearing loss, listening environment, streaming use and selected features.
Additional features of the new Phonak EON family include:
