SACRAMENTO ~ Sacramento - Governor Gavin Newsom, alongside state and local leaders, will be hosting a virtual press conference today to announce new awards aimed at resolving encampments across California. The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Joining Governor Newsom will be BCSH Secretary Tomiquia Moss, San Mateo County CEO Mike Callagy, Los Angeles County CEO Fesia Davenport, Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, and San Bernardino Mayor Helen Tran. The press conference will be livestreamed on the @CAgovernor Twitter page, California Governor Facebook page, and Governor's Office YouTube page.
