SAN FRANCISCO, May 29, 2025 ~ Callan, a prominent institutional investment consulting firm, has announced the promotion of Uvan Tseng, CFA, to manager of their West Coast Consulting team. This decision was made by Greg DeForrest, CFA, who will continue to lead the firm's overall client consulting group and has been managing the West Coast team since 2014.
According to Mr. DeForrest, "Uvan has been an invaluable member of the West Coast team since he joined the firm almost 17 years ago. He has a distinguished track record of both partnering with clients and leading coworkers." This recognition of Mr. Tseng's contributions and capabilities is a testament to his dedication and hard work.
In his new role as senior vice president and manager of the West Coast consulting team, Mr. Tseng will not only continue working with a diverse range of clients but also oversee a team of 11 consultants. He is also a member of Callan's Management Committee and Defined Contribution Committee, as well as a shareholder of the firm. Based in Callan's San Francisco headquarters, Mr. Tseng brings extensive experience and expertise to his new position.

His team consists of consultants from California and the Pacific Northwest who have been instrumental in building successful investment programs for Callan's clients. Mr. Tseng holds an MBA in finance from Santa Clara University and a BA in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst® designation holder and an active member of CFA Institute and CFA Society San Francisco.
