MORENO VALLEY, Calif. - Californer -- Former IBF Super Featherweight World Champion boxer Robert Garcia, winner of the 2024 Ring Magazine Trainer of the Year award, and trainer of several world champions, brings his teaching skills to the youth of Moreno Valley.
Join us in celebrating the grand opening of the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy (RGBA) on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 located at 22500 Town Cir Moreno Valley, CA 92553. The all-day event will feature an open house with live music, food, drinks, and guided tours of the gym. Attendees will also have the chance to meet and greet Robert Garcia as well as other world-class boxing legends.
"At Robert Garcia Boxing Academy, we are committed to growing beyond borders, expanding our training programs worldwide and continuing to shape the next generation of champions. My goal is to bring world-class coaching to fighters everywhere, helping them build successful careers inside and outside the ring. We've produced champions, and we will keep doing it—one fighter at a time, one victory at a time," states Robert Garcia.
Moreno Valley Mayor Ulises Cabrera states, "Moreno Valley is proud and excited to soon welcome RGBA, a place where future champions can emerge and our community can fully embrace the sport of boxing. Get ready, Moreno Valley—great things are on the horizon!"
The RGBA will offer a youth program running from Monday to Thursday, 4 PM to 5 PM, with open sessions on Fridays. The RGBA aims to foster growth and confidence among Moreno Valley youth.
Robert Garcia's Boxing Academy was established with the mission of developing champions both in the ring and in life. Since its founding, the academy has been a cornerstone of the community, providing high-quality training for boxers of all skill levels. With a team of experienced coaches, the academy emphasizes discipline, respect, and hard work. Over the years, it has produced numerous champions and continues to inspire the next generation of boxers.
