The patent pending SMART PLUG system includes a newly designed hardware device, a recently developed mobile and cloud software, and a machine learning AI system designed to monitor and enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes through seamless, real-time health monitoring for the workers' compensation market.

Currently, worker's compensation is providing benefits to injured workers without quantified outcome data or any knowledge of injured workers' rehabilitation journeys. There is no adherence data on the payor side and no accountability processes for workers to ensure that they are compliant with their rehabilitation programs.  This is the first ICCT system that reports in near real-time both patient adherence and usage to the user, the clinician, the TPA, and the insurer.

• The dedicated mobile app software reminds the patient when they need to use ICCT therapy, the duration of the next therapy session, and provides the patient with behavioral feedback as to how they are progressing.
• The machine learning system records and monitors each completed session's data and other metrics such as pain levels, medication usage, recovery milestones, patient complications, and wound images.
• Clinicians, TPA's, and AMS support teams members have the opportunity to monitor adherence (session lengths and frequency of usage) remotely and patient's pain levels through a remote patient monitoring Microsoft Azure powered cloud dashboard.
