The hotel in partnership with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank hosted a Grand Opening on Thursday, March 2, 2023. The private event included a ribbon cutting, a radio appearance by KWKW 1330 AM and host Armando Aguayo, and representatives from the Long Beach CVB, the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Long Beach Alliance and city officials. The attendees were treated to a light reception, music from the Spanish Guitar Duo of Jose Prieto and Victor Torres and the first to experience the new Swing Suites.
