Dame Dash Commits $1 Million Investment in Mommy Lounge Network, Empowering Black Women in Media

ATLANTA - Californer -- Dame Dash's cutting-edge streaming media platform, America Nu Network, has officially entered into a strategic distribution deal with Mommy Lounge Network, an all-black female-operated network committed to combating the exploitation of black women in the labor force by addressing issues of unfair and inequitable compensation.

Mommy Lounge Network is dedicated to providing a lucrative platform where black women can creatively confront social, political, and economic constructs that deny them basic humanity. The network's mission is realized through the provision of jobs, education, and international networking opportunities for the most historically marginalized group in America. Katoria Chanyasubkit, Chairwoman, and founder leads the charge.

Statistics Reflecting Challenges Faced by Black Women:

The initiative is timely, considering the significant challenges black women face in the workforce. According to Census Bureau statistics, black women represent 71% of the labor force among black people. However, 29% of black women live below the poverty line, compared to 14% of women overall. Only 26% of black women earned $50,000 or more in 2018, in contrast to 48% of all women. Additionally, 35% of black women have at least an associate's degree, compared to 42% of all women.
