Farm Day is a free, interactive experience where the public visits farms and other agricultural venues throughout the county.
VENTURA, Calif. - Californer -- Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG) announced that the 14th annual Ventura County Farm Day will take place Saturday, May 8, 2027.
Farm Day is a free, interactive experience where the public visits farms and other agricultural venues throughout the county. It offers behind-the-scenes tours, tractor rides, produce tastings and giveaways, and kid-friendly activities while visitors learn first-hand how food is grown, harvested and delivered to stores locally and around the world.
"Agriculture is everywhere you look here in Ventura County, yet most of us don't get to see all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes," says Caitlin Paulus-Case, SEEAG executive director. "Ventura County Farm Day is a chance to explore local farms, meet the people growing our food, and celebrate the agriculture that surrounds us."
