Executive technology outlook opens community submissions ahead of 12 official Decode Predictions publishing in late December 2026.
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Californer -- Decode Digital Works today announced the launch of Outlook & Predictions 2027, a year-long initiative connecting enterprise technology change to practical executive decision-making. Community submissions are now open, with twelve official Decode Predictions scheduled for publication in late December 2026.
Each year, the technology industry produces hundreds of prediction reports focused on emerging technologies, market forecasts, and vendor roadmaps. Decode Outlook & Predictions 2027 takes a different approach by examining what technology change means for executives responsible for operating, transforming, and governing complex enterprises.
The program brings together two distinct perspectives: Decode Predictions and Community Predictions.
The twelve Decode Predictions will be independently selected by Decode Digital Works through editorial research informed by Strategic Advisory Board perspectives, Executive Fellow input, industry research, conference observations, executive discussions, and community submissions.

When published in December, each prediction will go beyond forecasting a technology or market development. The analysis will examine the implications for enterprise executives, provide practical guidance, and connect the prediction to a relevant Decode Executive Reference Framework.
"Technology predictions are easy to make when they stop at describing what might change," said Ryan Klein, Founder and Managing Partner of Decode Digital Works. "What matters to enterprise executives is what those changes mean for the decisions they need to make. That is where we want the 2027 Outlook to be different."
Decode is also opening the conversation to the broader technology community.
Executives, technology leaders, practitioners, researchers, and advisors can submit predictions for consideration as Community Predictions. Submissions will be reviewed for relevance, quality, professionalism, and publication permission.
Community Predictions provide an independent channel for contributors to share what they believe will materially change in 2027 and why. Approved submissions authorized for publication may appear alongside the 2027 Outlook when it is released.

Publication as a Community Prediction does not constitute selection or endorsement as one of the twelve official Decode Predictions. Decode Digital Works retains independent editorial judgment over its predictions and the final Outlook.
Community submissions are open now and will continue through the fall of 2026.
