Built by a founder who grew up selling food on the beach, Aki puts street vendors on a live map so customers can find them and order in seconds. Live on the coast of São Paulo. Los Angeles next.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Every commerce platform ever built assumes the seller has an address. Aki assumes the seller moves.
Aki is a live, location-based marketplace that connects street vendors and customers in real time. Customers open the app, see who's selling near them right now, and order. The vendor walks it over. Order from three vendors at once and it all lands at your beach chair.
Delivery apps are about staying home and receiving. Aki is about leaving home and finding.
"My mom's store never had an address," said Victor Calfat Luzzi, founder and CEO of Aki. "She sold food on the beach, and so did I. Fifteen years ago I chased a snack guy down the sand for twenty minutes. Today, nothing has changed. The seller still has to shout, and the customer still has to hope."
Aki is live on iOS and Android, with 39 vendors selling across two beach cities on the coast of São Paulo, Brazil.
For vendors, being found replaces shouting. Every order becomes part of an income record most of them never had, the kind of history that opens doors to credit and growth. Aki is also building tools for the distributors and brands behind those vendors, so they can see where their products move and support the people who sell them.

The beach is where Aki started, not what it is. Wherever there is one vendor and one customer, on a beach, a sidewalk, or at a festival, there is a market that nobody can see. Aki's mission is to make markets efficient, everywhere.
"Anyone, anywhere, should be able to sell without an address and be found in seconds," said Calfat Luzzi. "That's the whole idea."
Calfat Luzzi moved to Los Angeles alone at 18 to make movies. He built a career in visual effects and immersive media, and was part of the team behind a Lumiere Award winning 12K Formula 1 experience, before going back to the beach he grew up on to build Aki.
Aki is part of the FoundersBoost Glendale Fall 2026 program and is preparing its Los Angeles launch. The team is meeting founders, investors and brand partners during LA Tech Week, October 12 to 16.
Los Angeles vendors who want early access, and brands interested in partnering, can reach the team at victor@getaki.app.
