Santa Barbara Designer/ Supply Chain Expert sees conscious consumerism as a vehicle to co-create a better world.
CARPINTERIA, Calif. - Californer -- Santa Barbara, CA -- LOVE SHOWS THE WAY, the maker of chic and effortless sweaters made from Hemp, has launched a new website and set up warehousing in the Funk Zone. LOVE SHOWS THE WAY sees opportunity to intentionally use regenerative business practices to create harmony and reciprocity within economies, ecologies, and societies. The brand sells online and is opening key wholesale doors.
The company's founder Wendy Oldani is a long time end to end apparel professional who started off her technical design career in the early 2000's with the department store behemoth May Merchandising Company. She has traveled the world visiting factories and creating clothing for notable companies such as Mervyns, K-Swiss, Territory Ahead, Patagonia, and a myriad of small e-commerce brands. In late 2013, a series of personal awakenings began to unfold for Wendy leading her on a hero's journey to find meaningful purpose.
More on The Californer
Love Shows The Way's vision for peace, harmony, and true reciprocity within a powerfully connected supply chain network holds the intention to build an "all boats rise business" that inspires the consumer to vote with their dollar in alignment with nature and humanity. The main fiber used in the line Hemp, is a regenerative crop that can sequester carbon from the atmosphere and enrich the soil via drawdown. The crop grows from seed to mature plant in less than 100 days and can/ should be used by big Ag farmers to help with the climate crisis.
Love Shows The Way desires USA industrial hemp to scale in order to be an ally for people and planet. Hemp can clothe, fuel, shelter, and medicate. Regarding hemp textiles, currently China is the go-to place for cottonized hemp yarns/fabrics. Wendy is working with groups in the Midwest and East Coast to change this, but it will take some time and massive capital investment.
Love Shows The Way will premier its pop up shop at the Santa Barbara Night Market which launches on Black Friday. Shop online now at: www.loveshowstheway.com
