RIALTO, Calif. - Californer -- DJ Cazel, born Ruben Garcia, is a Los Angeles–based DJ, producer, promoter, and music entrepreneur whose career spans more than three decades. Beginning his journey in the early 1990s, DJ Cazel developed a deep appreciation for funk, soul, oldies, and house music—sounds that would later define his signature style.

Raised in La Puente, DJ Cazel turned a lifelong passion into a successful career through dedication, adaptability, and entrepreneurial vision. In addition to DJing, he expanded into music production, concert promotion, and live event creation, launching multiple ventures throughout the years. While some proved successful and others served as learning experiences, each step strengthened his understanding of the music industry.

Together with his wife, Tanya, DJ Cazel envisioned long-term goals that led him to continue producing concerts and shows under DJ Cazel Presents, later founding Industry Music Group, a record label created to support emerging talent and original branding. From this foundation, DJ Cazel created Souldies, a brand and cultural movement celebrating soul-driven music and live experiences.

DJ Cazel has performed at clubs, arenas, and stadiums nationwide, sharing stages with legendary artists such as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Baby Bash, Zapp, Brenton Wood, Morris Day and The Time, The Bar-Kays, The Moments, and more. His extensive performance résumé reflects decades of consistency and respect across generations.

To further grow the Souldies brand, DJ Cazel opened Souldies Lounge in Rialto, creating a destination that draws visitors from across the region every weekend. The venue has become a cornerstone of the Souldies movement, blending music, culture, and community.

From a young kid with a dream to a respected figure in live entertainment and music branding, DJ Cazel continues to build a legacy rooted in sound, soul, and independent success.
