LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Lukevision Enterprise recording artist ODILLIA's debut single End of the World featuring Atlanta rapper LIL' KEED is heating up Urban radio across the U.S.!
Odillia, born Frederique Odillia Henriette Hochstenbag on April 21, 1996, moved from her home country of the Netherlands in October 2019 to pursue her musical aspirations in the States. The road to the bright lights of Tinseltown was a hard one for the young artist who began studying ballet at age six in her hometown, Maastricht. It wasn't long before her teacher realized her high energy personality was better suited to hip-hop, and she quickly excelled as a B-girl. Her skills as a dancer led to nationwide fame on the hit television competition show, Holland's Got Talent, where she and her all-girl dance group took second place in the finale. The notoriety led to an opportunity to travel and perform around the world!
Though obviously gifted in dance, Odillia's passion for music could no longer be ignored. The early influences of hip-hop icons like Lil' Kim and Biggie Smalls were a guiding force and inspiration for the talented teen who at the time was struggling with peers, societal norms and family expectations. Like many high school girls, she began writing about her challenges which turned into rhymes and ultimately became the makings of her first recordings. Despite opposition from her family, Odillia decided to leave home at sixteen to follow her dreams of becoming a singer and rapper. A bold move for a young girl! "My family didn't really approve of what I was doing," she explains. "But I had to ignore the negativity. There wasn't really any appreciation for people who looked and acted different, or who dressed different. I just knew I had to do whatever it took for me to stay true to who I was as a person and an artist. It was hard, but it made me who I am today."

The move paid off! Once on her own, Odillia was free to explore her musical interests. She began working with producers in the Netherlands to develop her sound which she describes as hip-hop/pop with house music vibes. "I want my music to do for others what the artists I love so much have done for me," says Odillia. "I want people to feel good when they hear my music. I want it to help them get through the hard times and inspire them to reach for their dreams no matter who may tell them it's impossible." Her unique musical blend and powerhouse vocals proved to be a winning combination landing her a spot on the hit BBC talent competition All Together Now.
With momentum building from national television exposure and a growing fan base, the next stop was clear…Los Angeles! In just a few short months of her arrival, the blonde bombshell landed a major record deal, secured artist representation and collaborated with Lil' Keed, one of the hottest young rappers in the business, on what is predicted to be 2020's song of the summer! "Jumping in the booth with Keed was an amazing experience," recounts Odillia. "We were able to come together musically within minutes. There was such a comfortable, natural vibe between us, and what his verses bring to the track make it even hotter. It was really an honor to work with him on the single." With her undeniable talent and unstoppable spirit, Odlillia's star is certain to shine brighter and fly higher for many years to come!
