Grand Opening Celebrates Two Sisters' Entrepreneurial Journey from Nursing to Restaurant Ownership
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Californer -- Fishbone Seafood Restaurants, a popular Southern California Seafood franchise, is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest location in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 12pm. to 3p.m. Located at 2709 Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, the event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live DJ, and free sample plates for the first 10 guests.
This new location is owned by sisters and Registered Nurses, Yemi and Ola, who bring a decade of experience caring for patients to their new venture in the food industry. The Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-raised sisters built a successful home health agency in 2014 and are now extending their passion for serving people to their community through delicious, fresh seafood.
"Our careers have always been centered around helping and uplifting others," says Ola. "With Fishbone, we're thrilled to connect with our customers, share amazing food, and create a space that brings joy to the community."
