Calling All Artist! Flint's Got Talent Submissions Is Now Open
FLINT, Mich. - Californer -- iMichigan Productions, in partnership with WOW Community Outreach, is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of the 2nd Annual Flint's Got Talent Showcase Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the landmark Capitol Theater.
The event, which garnered immense success in its inaugural edition, is back to celebrate and uplift the remarkable talents within the Flint community Flint's Got Talent serves as a vibrant platform for individuals and groups to showcase their creativity and skills in categories including music, spoken word, dance, singing, and comedy.
As a testament to the city's resilience and artistic spirit, Flint's Got Talent aims to provide a positive and public experience that reinforces the self-worth and strength of its participants. "Flint residents proudly tell everyone how 'resilient' we are," shared Rodney W. Brown, Founder, iMichigan Productions. "Showcasing the talents of the kids demonstrates the truth of the statement and provides them with a healthy, positive, and public experience to reinforce their self-worth and strength. It is a positive community activity for the audience as well, reminding all that our youths are our resilience for the future."

The submission process is simple and accessible, with interested participants able to find information and submit three-minute audition entries at FlintsGotTalent.com. A panel of judges comprising media and performance arts personalities will select 10 acts from the entries. Cash awards will be determined based on audience applause during the show.
As an event that celebrates the spirit of unity and talent within the community, Flint's Got Talent offers free entries and free tickets to attend the showcase. However, due to limited seating, audience members are encouraged to secure their tickets in advance from the Whiting Ticket Office.

iMichigan Productions is a youth-based organization that provides reading and writing skill-based learning through the arts. Our programs serve to support the youth in developing the necessary skills to pursue a career in the film and television industry. We serve an average of 300 youth ages 13 – 25 annually.
