SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 26, 2024 ~ Flourish Ventures, a venture capital firm with a focus on fintech and a strong sense of purpose, has recently announced new additions and promotions to its global investment team. The firm has welcomed five new members in 2023 and has promoted two investment leaders, Diana Narváez in Brazil and Harsh Gupta in India, to the position of Principals.
According to Arjuna Costa, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Flourish Ventures, the new hires and promotions bring valuable capabilities to the firm's investment team. He specifically highlighted the expertise of Diana Narváez, who has a hands-on understanding of building successful startups in Latin America. With her deep connections to the region from living in Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico, Narváez is well-equipped to independently expand Flourish's presence in the area. Similarly, Harsh Gupta's leadership in India will be crucial for guiding the firm's portfolio and providing valuable insights on valuations and emerging markets.
The expanded roles for Narváez and Gupta, along with the recent hires, demonstrate Flourish Ventures' commitment to supporting early-stage mission-driven founders across all five continents where they invest. The firm currently has a global portfolio of over 70 companies that are working towards creating a fair financial system.
