Foley Marra Studios slate of films will have a long life on the festival circuit.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Foley Marra Studios confirms it is returning to the festival circuit following a pause during the pandemic. The prolific studio is proving that their latest slate of films will have a long life on the festival circuit.
"We are very proud of our films and are looking forward to continuing our record of success," said Chuck Marra, President, Foley Marra Studios.
New Films Showing Strong
Two Cars Once Space, written by and starring Melanie Collup. While leaving a message for her teenage daughter that she is running late, a woman turns into a parking lot and runs into a young man's car. With lead direction by Megan Marra, the film explores what appears to be a commonplace occurrence but has a darker undertone. The film is a Finalist at the Lisbon Film Rendezvous and received Honorable Mention at the Onyko Films Awards.

Where Do You Get Off is a fantasy about a woman descending into a world of self-pity, drinking and pills and finds herself in a mysterious Elevator. While watching other people exit different floors, she discovers she may not have lived up to the life that had been planned. The film, written by Jessica Leigh, Jacob Glenn Aquino and SaraLydia Forgath, has been selected by the Rome Movie Awards, Adbhooture Film Festival and Balticon Sunday Short Science-Fiction Film Festival.
Returning Favorites
Repercussions, a noir-style drama about a woman who confronts her husband's lover, is also making the rounds. The Susan Damante penned short has won awards at the Golden and Silver State Film Festivals, and is now a Finalist at the Lisbon Film Rendezvous.
In The Itty-Bitty Committee, a man enjoying his morning coffee is confronted by 3 women with an agenda of their own. The film has played globally and earned the lead actor and author, Todd Gajdusek, a Best Actor nomination at the Moscow Indie Film Festival. This short has also received an Honorable Mention at the upcoming Onyko Films Awards.
