LOS ANGELES - Californer -- FuseFX, an award-winning visual effects organization specializing in providing services for television and film along with affiliated studios Folks VFX and Rising Sun Pictures, hires Robin Prybil as global director, strategic partnerships. Robin will act as a conduit to existing relationships, strengthen ties and trust with large studios and high-level executives, and cultivate new business relationships across the company's nine studio locations.
In her new role, Robin will work to secure projects for all current and future locations of FuseFX and its affiliates across the globe. "Robin brings deep industry experience to the table, and can build on existing relationships, as well as establish new studio connections to help the organization secure the most exciting projects being created. Her presence will enable additional work in episodic content, further expand engagements in feature films, and procure fresh projects in emerging markets like virtual production," shared CEO and founder of FuseFX, David Altenau.

Robin brings more than 20 years of entertainment experience from working at some of the most prestigious studios in the industry leading new business initiatives. Robin was instrumental in raising the profile for Peter Jackson's Weta Digital in New Zealand as visual effects executive and head of new business. Among the many projects she helped bring in were Avatar, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and two films with Steven Spielberg, The Adventures of Tintin, and The BFG. Additionally, Robin served as visual effects executive on films including: X-Men: First Class, The Avengers, Prometheus, Man of Steel, The Jungle Book, Pete's Dragon, and The Hobbit trilogy.
