SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 21, 2025 ~ Graham Street Realty (GSR), a commercial real estate investment firm based in San Francisco and affiliated with Hamilton Zanze, has recently announced the sale of Hunt Plaza in Corte Madera, California. The 1.57-acre property, spanning 68,456 square feet, was sold on August 14th.
GSR had sponsored the acquisition of Hunt Plaza back in December 2021. The property is located just 10 miles north of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. The buyer's plan for the property is to convert it into an affordable multifamily community with a total of 99 homes.
According to Andrew Mustin, Director of Asset Management at GSR, their initial plan was to invest significant capital into modernizing Hunt Plaza and securing long-term market-rate leases with both new and existing tenants. However, when a buyer emerged with the opportunity to fully leverage current housing element opportunities, GSR shifted its strategy. Mustin expressed excitement about seeing new affordable housing take shape at 240 Tamal Vista.

During GSR's ownership of Hunt Plaza, Paramount Property Co., an affiliate based in Oakland, California, managed the property. Located just west of Highway 101 near Lucky Drive and Fifer Street, Hunt Plaza offers convenient access to Marin County's extensive transit network. This includes connections to major employment centers in San Francisco and the North Bay Area such as Interstate 580, three ferry terminals, various bus service providers, Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART), and numerous biking trails.
The sale of Hunt Plaza marks another successful transaction for Graham Street Realty and its affiliates. With their strategic investments and partnerships, they continue to make a positive impact on communities by providing quality housing options for all income levels.
