Upon meeting the Small Business Certification eligibility requirements, certified small businesses and micro businesses are entitled to benefits such as eligibility for the State's Small Business Participation Program, administrative fees waived, and better incentives when it comes to net bid prices – certified small businesses have precedence over non-small business bidders.
