ONTARIO, Calif. - Californer -- This year all films in the Region must have: a character named Millie or Milner Faust - Fire Chief (played in HN by PhilE), the "How long have you been here?" spoken line of dialogue and a Recipe Card as a prop. Since at the IE48HFP Friday Kick-Off Meeting each Team drew out of a hat two unique genre options, variety among the petite motion pictures is guaranteed because of tasks such as: Comedy, Dance, Drama, Family, Fantasy, Horror, Mocumentary, Musical, Sci Fi, Social Media, Thriller, Whodunit, etc., in addition to Happier Now's Romance / Revenge assignment.

Along with Creators Alliance's Happier Now, listed here in alphabetical order are the production companies who, during the first weekend of October, moved successfully "from dream to screen in 48 hours": 3 AM Entertainment, 19 ENT, CBULancers, Desert Howl Productions, FUTURESCAPE FILMS, Guerrilla Filmz, IEFC, JMV Films, LAAF, No Unbrella Studios, Phase 3 Films, Pryde Pierce Films, Rhino Street Productions, Root 66 Films, Salucita Films, Silver Reels, Studio 7 Productions, Team Ramrod, The Celestials, The Hotdogs, Timboslice Productions and xcalibur.
