As a certified hypnotherapist and former Counterintelligence Agent, Alan M Franzenburg understands the stress isolation and stigma can cause. He is volunteering to work remotely with those infected or in quarantine to reduce their stress levels with hypnosis.
BURBANK, Calif. - Californer -- "Creativity Hypnosis today announced: Know anyone personally in quarantine for the coronavirus (COVID-19)? If they have a networked device and would like to experience hypnosis to help manage the stress of quarantine and potential illness reach out to Alan Franzenburg at Creativity Hypnosis in Burbank, Ca. He is volunteering two evening slots a week to help out. Obviously remote only and slots are limited.
Must be in official quarantine and participating with medical providers.
What makes hypnosis a great supplement to their existing care is it can be done remotely over the phone or internet. With this the client can relax and go somewhere else mentally as their body experiences lower cortisol (Stress hormone) levels. Higher stress levels caused by infection or quarantine isolation can affect the immune system in negative ways. So lowering stress while enabling deep inner journeys to entertain the mind can both break up the monotony and allow the body to heal. The fact it can be done remotely protects against any potential harm to the practitioner.
