How to combat boredom with typing adventures and challenges for all ages and skill levels

LIVERMORE, Calif. - Californer -- The new versions of Individual Software's four typing programs include powerful features for educators and students. Teachers can use AI-generated content that supports classroom learning, for any subject, such as science and studying photosynthesis, or geography, studying Patagonia, and add the content to the Typing Plans, typing lessons, or typing tests. This allows students to learn to type or improve their typing skills and reinforce specific classroom learning topics. For example, California 4th-grade teachers can add content about the California Missions, a part of the 4th-grade curriculum.

Another feature built into the typing apps provides educators and students with the ability to use the finger-to-key reports to identify which finger and keys are weak for a student and then add AI-generated content to the student's typing lessons to strengthen these weak keys.

The new 2025 Typing Management Center has many resources for educators. The Tips & Tricks section includes topics such as "How to combat boredom when learning to type," especially needed for younger students. For example, each Typing Program has unique game rooms where students can take a break from their Typing Plan at any time and practice typing by playing games. Games provide the perfect opportunity to have fun and improve typing speed and accuracy. Students can select from several settings for each game and have a great time while improving their typing skills. When they return to their Typing Plan, it resumes where they left off.

Learning to type takes practice and more practice. This requires keeping students motivated. Combining education with entertainment is the solution. What better way to do this than a joint development project with Disney? Disney's Typing Adventure features a Mickey and Friends storyline, Disney character animations, Disney Articles, and exciting game fun. Because it is Disney, it is a program for all ages.

When it comes to typing, one size does not fit all. The four Typing Programs offer multiple typing plans designed to meet the needs of all students, such as the Home Row Plan for young students, the age and grade level plans, and advanced plans for high achievers. These are not linear typing plans; they are adventures that take students on challenges to conquer a land, reach a palace or a castle, earn points and treasures, and score points on games. Focused on the adventure and challenges, the finger-to-key memory improves, and students become touch typists. To learn more visit: https://www.individualsoftware.com/
