Responsibilities will be providing expertise and advice regarding family law scenarios
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Californer -- Hoover Krepelka, LLP, the preeminent family law firm in Northern California, announced Partner and Certified Family Law Specialist James J. Hoover has been named to the Advisory Board of WomenSV. Based in Los Altos, WomenSV is a 501(c)3 non-profit that empowers women in middle-to-upper income areas who are trapped in a relationship with a powerful, sophisticated abuser who presents a positive public image as doctor, lawyer, engineer, therapist, CEO, etc., while privately threatening their spouse with repercussions if they try to leave or escape. WomenSV provides direct client services, promotes awareness, and offers education to address the needs of this population so they can break the cycle of abuse and be free and safe in their own home.
"I am moved and honored to be given this opportunity," said James Hoover, Partner and CFLS at Hoover Krepelka, LLP. "WomenSV provides a valuable service to our community. As a long-time supporter of their mission, my hope is to provide expertise and insight that will be helpful as they expand their services."
