Karate Do, a new karate film from Bauer House Films, is now available on Amazon.
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Californer -- Karate Do is about a young woman battling addiction. Lost and lonely, she turns to learning the secrets of karate. After winning her battle with addiction, she sets out to get self defense taught in high-schools so that women can learn to defend themselves.
Karate Do focuses on breaking the typical stereotypes in Hollywood martial arts films by having a female lead turn to karate in order to save her life and overcome her personal problems. The film also brings up another important point; the lack of self defense classes taught to young women. The film challenges the common concern that girls can get hurt if self defense classes were taught.
