LOS ANGELES - Californer -- he Dallas, TX-based La Maquinaria Norteña begins the new year with the release of the deluxe edition of their album En Las Buenas Y En Las Malas (In the Good and Bad Times). The deluxe edition features five previously unreleased songs in addition to the original seven and is now available on all digital platforms.
"En Las Buenas Y En Las Malas" features norteño sax style songs about love and heartbreak, including the hit singles "En Honor A Ti" and "En Las Buenas Y En Las Malas". "En Honor A Ti" features Grupo Firme and is a tribute to the memory of La Maquinaria Norteña's saxophonist Keith Nieto's late wife. "En Las Buenas Y En Las Malas" is about remaining faithful in love during both good and bad times.
The production was recorded at Luminous Sound studios (Dallas, TX) under the direction of the Grammy Award-winning engineer Daniel Zapata and producers Keith Nieto of La Maquinaria Norteña and Humberto Novoa. Due to overwhelming demand, La Maquinaria Norteña decided to release "En Las Buenas Y En Las Malas" (Deluxe Edition), which has 12 original songs including boleros, ballads, and norteñas.

La Maquinaria Norteña was founded in 2006 in Roswell, New Mexico by a talented group of musicians originally from the Mexican states of Chihuahua and Zacatecas. The Grammy-nominated group consists of Keith Nieto (saxophone), Rory Nieto (accordion), Tony Nieto (drums), Edgar Magdaleno (bass guitar) and Sergio Soto "La Mozka" (vocals).
Now after releasing more than 10 albums and EPs as well as touring throughout the United States, Mexico and Guatemala, the ensemble is excited to continue releasing new material and bringing their signature-style of music to their fans.
