XI'AN, China - Californer -- LIB, a leading global provider of environmental simulation test chambers, has once again collaborated with Nidec, a premier motor manufacturer, on the TH0098—an industrial-scale temperature humidity test chamber featuring a 98 m³ volume. This partnership builds on prior successful customization of the T1000B, T1000B splittype, and TR3500B 3 years ago.
Before finalizing the design of TH-0098, LIB conducted two detailed on-site inspections at the Nidec Vietnam laboratory, overcoming space limitations and proposing two iterative solutions. The final chamber delivers:
Rigorous verification before shipment ensured that the environmental parameters, quality, and compliance with ISO standards were met for this temperature and humidity test chamber.
Streamlining lab workflows, the TH0098 features 24 custom test ports for simultaneous powered testing of over ten specimen carts, outperforming Nidec's previous network of smaller chambers and reducing energy consumption.

The giant workshop poses challenges in terms of transportation and installation. To enhance the installation efficiency, LIB disassembled the test chamber into numbered modules, taking into account the customer's laboratory infrastructure. The refrigeration unit was divided into two separate parts to minimize the reconfiguration needs on site. During the assembly process, LIB carried out sealing and welding treatments in the workspace, treating the outer surface of A3 steel and the inner surface of SUS 304 stainless steel to ensure air tightness. After welding, a special weak acid treatment was used to remove oxides, ensuring the cleanliness of the workspace and facilitating the subsequent use.
Following installation, LIB conducted a comprehensive training program for Nidec's staff, covering automated control systems, maintenance protocols, and emergency procedures. On-site validation tests recorded temperature stability within ±0.5°C and humidity within ±2.5%RH, exceeding industry benchmarks.
"This project embodies LIB's 'total solution' philosophy—from consultation to post-install support," said LIB's manager, Youngsen. Committed to tailored environmental testing, LIB leverages its 16+ years of large-scale deployment expertise to empower clients like Nidec in achieving manufacturing excellence.
