Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) is once again offering its Winter Fun Days program, providing free extended supervised recreation for children ages 5 to 12. The program will run from Monday, December 23 to Friday, December 27, 2024 (excluding Wednesday, December 25), and Monday, December 30 to Friday, January 3, 2025 (excluding Wednesday, January 1).
This annual program gives local youth the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities such as sports, games, arts and crafts, and special events during their winter school break. The Winter Fun Days Program is a drop-in program where registered participants can come and go at their own convenience. PRM staff will be present at various parks throughout Long Beach from noon to 5 p.m. to lead recreational activities.
To participate in the Winter Fun Days Program, pre-registration is required and will be available at the program sites during operating hours starting on Monday, December 9.
