The city, along with local community groups and neighborhoods across the country, recognizes the importance of bicycling as a fun, healthy, and sustainable mode of transportation.
Residents of all ages are invited to participate in the month-long celebration, which aims to promote safe riding and encourage people to explore Long Beach on two wheels. And with plans to expand the network to 300 miles by 2040, the city is committed to making bicycling a convenient and everyday way to get around.
