SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- Does cancer change your life? Sometimes, yes, a little, a lot, a month, a year, forever. But does it define who you are? No. As in No! As in **No!** And some pretty funny things still happen, sometimes ironically even on the darkest days.  Just ask Megan Timpane, a San Francisco-born actress and playwright. She and cancer are old acquaintances, and (for now) it's gone and she's still here. With a big story, a few answers, and a lot of laughs, Megan is thrilled to announce the premiere of her one-woman show, "Lymphomaniac: The 10-Year Cancer-(free)-versary,"  at The Gregangelo Museum in San Francisco on December 11-13 and 18-20. It's a sequel; a poignant, sometimes moving and at times hilarious follow-up on her journey with cancer and over her past ten years in remission. In "Lymphomaniac: The 10-Year Cancer-versary," Megan tells an updated version of her original one-woman show about facing Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma at 22, and the six months of chemotherapy that followed. With her uncanny ability to become the characters in her life, her wicked sense of humor, and her profound capacity to reflect on some of life's most difficult moments, Megan takes you through what it was like to face her own mortality so young.  While a decade has passed since the end of the first show's run at, the overarching message remains the same: sure, cancer may change your life, but it doesn't have to define who you are.
