Shadelands Walnut Creek to host annual free, all-community event
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Californer -- Enjoy a day with family and friends at Made in the Shade, Sunday, November 3, 11am–3pm, held at the Shadelands SportsMall, 2640 Shadelands Drive, Walnut Creek. This popular, all-community event, hosted by Shadelands Walnut Creek, draws thousands of festival attendees annually from local and regional communities.
Free and family-friendly, Made in the Shade will feature live music, food trucks, ice cream, craft beer, exhibitor booths, giveaways, demonstrations, and sports activities for young and old including yoga, soccer, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, taekwondo, and batting cages. Making special appearances will be the Project Pink Wheels pink fire engine and Joybound People & Pets' mobile adoption van.

Local taproom Calicraft Brewing Co. will bring its best microbrews and spritzers to the table, and branded Made in the Shade sunglasses will be handed out upon check-in, while supplies last.
Shadelands businesses and nonprofits are invited to showcase their organizations with an exhibitor table; exhibitor logos and website links appear on the Made in the Shade webpage.
