LIVERMORE, Calif. - Californer -- Maggie Miguel started her career in finance but, when her children were in elementary school, she decided to leave corporate America to open a learning center. Now, with her kids all grown up, Maggie is excited to start a new adventure with her new business – Home Helpers Home Care.
"When I opened the learning center, being able to spend more quality time with my children while helping to educate our community's children was like a dream come true. When that chapter of my life came to a close, it was time to pursue another dream. In my reflection, I realized it was the older adults who needed my support now. Home Helpers allows me to care for my own aging parents while helping to support our community's senior citizens," Maggie said.
Home Helpers Home Care offers the industry's leading model for comprehensive care with its unique care program, Cared-4SM, which provides the four necessary components to living independently. This includes Companionship care, Nutrition and Meal Planning, 24/7 Emergency Response, and Wellness Calls to help ensure medications and hydration are maintained. Maggie's local Home Helpers serves Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, Brentwood and the surrounding areas.
