LOS ANGELES - Californer -- COVER360ixty Launches National Community Empowerment Initiative to Uplift 1,000 Organizations and Families

Los Angeles, CA — July 1, 2025
— COVER360ixty, a purpose-driven organization focused on equity, wellness, and opportunity, proudly announces the launch of its Community Empowerment Initiative—a bold national effort to support 1,000 organizations and uplift 1,000 families through a comprehensive platform of entrepreneurship, leadership development, mental wellness, emotional intelligence, and digital upskilling.

This launch comes at a pivotal moment. With the federal Job Corps program facing permanent elimination by June 30, 2025, nearly 99 centers nationwide and thousands of at-risk youth are in jeopardy of losing access to critical vocational training, housing, and wraparound support. While a temporary court order has delayed the closures, the long-term future of Job Corps remains uncertain.

In response, COVER360ixty is mobilizing grassroots communities across the country with a movement rooted in action and family-focused empowerment. "It's easy to say you aren't worried or stressed about resources you have—and not so easy to say the same when you don't know where your next one is coming from," said Jeremy Newkirk, Co-Founder of COVER360ixty. "That's the emotional and economic gap this initiative is designed to fill with real tools, real partners, and real opportunities."

The initiative provides both practical and emotional support. Participants will be guided through business development training to launch and grow new ventures. Digital skills training and access to technology will prepare individuals for success in today's workforce. Emotional intelligence and leadership coaching will build personal and professional confidence, while mental wellness resources ensure holistic care. Family engagement strategies are also embedded in the initiative, recognizing that stable households are foundational to thriving communities.
